Welcome to the UKATA practitioner listings. In this section you will find the details of UKATA registered TA practitioners per geographical area. You can search for a practitioner by name, postcode (will give nearest practitioners who have given their postcodes), the category they work in, Clients - who they work with, Specialisms, their field of expertise, their city, town or village, and or their country.

UKATA registered practitioners can belong to one or more fields of application: Psychotherapy, Counselling, Education and Organisation. They may also have different levels of qualifications, such as:

Certified Transactional Analyst Qualified Member. UKATA Registered.
Qualified to practise in their field of specialism. Their academic/professional level would be level 7. They work more deeply to unlock feelings, thoughts and behaviours that are imbedded and causing limitations in life. This takes longer and requires a strong alliance with the therapist. In psychotherapy, it is usual for people to attend at least once a week. This person would have a minimum of 500 supervised clinical hours, additional 250 hours of using TA – which could be clinical or in another setting, minimum of 70 supervised hours or one hour supervision – 6-8 hours of clinical work, minimum of receiving 160 hours of psychotherapy over 4 years. Psychiatric/mental health familiarization training/knowledge/placement for UKCP registered psychotherapists.
Certified Transactional Analyst Trainer. UKATA Registered.
Qualified to practise and to teach and supervise trainees and qualified psychotherapeutic counsellors and psychotherapist. Several years experience post level 7. They will have experience of working in depth as a psychotherapist.
Contractual Trainee Transactional Analyst. UKATA Registered.
In advanced training and practising under supervision. Academic and professional competence demonstrated between level 5 – level 7. Professional skills vary according to experience. They have the capacity to offer counselling and psychotherapy under TA supervision. Professional Experience Varies though usually 200 - 750 supervised clinical hours.
Provisional Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst. UKATA Registered.
Qualified to practise. In training to qualify as a Teaching and/or Supervising Transactional Analyst and/or CTA Trainer. They have a minimum of one year experience post level 7 qualification. Have a provisional license to teach and supervise up to level 7. Their professional skills would be Psychotherapeutic Counselling and Psychotherapy Supervision and Teaching under supervision. They will have experience of working in depth as a psychotherapist. Experienced in supervision and teaching to practitioners (psychotherapeutic counselling and psychotherapy). Can train and/or supervise trainees and Certified Transactional Analysts (CTA).
RTE Diploma Member. UKATA Registered.
Awarded a Diploma in TA recognised by a UKATA Registered Training Establishment.
Supervising Transactional Analyst. UKATA Registered.
Qualified to practise. Qualified and experienced in supervison of counsellors, psychotherapists, supervisors, trainers, trainees and all senior qualified members (CTA, PTSTA, CTA-T, TSTA). They will have several years experience post level 7. They will have experience of working in depth as a psychotherapist.
TA Practitioner Member. UKATA Registered.
Recognised to practise using Transactional Analysis by virtue of prior training and experience.
Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst. UKATA Registered.
Qualified to practise. Qualified to teach and/or supervise counsellors, psychotherapists, supervisors, trainers, trainees and all senior qualified members (CTA, PTSTA, CTA-T, TSTA). Qualified to teach and supervise other trainers and supervisors in addition to psychotherapist. They will have experience of working in depth as a psychotherapist. They have Several years experience post level 7.
Teaching Transactional Analyst. UKATA Registered
Teaching Transactional Analyst. UKATA Registered. They have Several years experience post level 7. Qualified to teach counsellors, psychotherapists, supervisors and trainers. Qualified to teach other trainers and supervisors in addition to psychotherapists. They will have experience of working in depth as a psychotherapist. Experienced in teaching both to practitioners and to supervisors and trainers.
UKATA Diploma TA Practice. UKATA Registered
Awarded the UKATA Diploma in TA Practice. Level 4/5. Their use of therapeutic TA counseling enables others, solve problems and share feelings. Working with the strengths and resources to help achieve goals. They have a Minimum of 200 supervised counselling practice hours, 34 supervision hours and 120 hours personal development work
