Event Category: TA 101 Diary
Event Description: This course is so much more than a necessary access course to training as a psychotherapist using Transactional Analysis. I offer an environment where trainees can explore, debate, experience, learn, challenge and grow through finding out about TA. The intensity of the course seems to encourage a level of honesty and connection between the participants. I work in a purpose built training centre in an area of outstanding natural beauty this means that the overall training experience is greatly enhanced by a deep relationship to the surrounding natural world. I account this in my training. This small RTE is in a location of outstanding natural beauty. I can accommodate up to 18 trainees in the training room. I would like to attract trainees from England as well as Wales. So as well as camping facilities, I provide some futons and sleeping areas for trainees to stay over. There is also a kitchen and a bathroom for trainees to use. Locally there are air B and Bs, hotels and pubs if you are wanting more luxury! Because of how aware I am of the power of the environment and nature alongside this RTE, the focus of this training will be on our relationship not only to each other, but also our impact on the environment.
